Powdermill flea market
Anyone hear if the flea market is still on for this Sunday Dec. 6th in Enfield Ct.? I have a flier from last year that states the first one of the winter season to be Dec. 6, 2015 and the next to be Jan. 3, 2016. I hope to see you all there.

Re: Powdermill flea market
Barry, thanks for the reminder, we have been vendors there a couple times, and a few weeks ago they sent the annual reminder - December is the first month, March I think, is the last. I remember going there as a kid in the 70s - the place used to be packed. Cool that they still do it, but a lot more elbow room nowadays. December is always tough with the Christmas season rush, but may need to at least sneak up there for a quick walk through.
Sometime before the season is over will be bringing up some gas and oil, A, T & Packard spares. For a small meet we usually do OK buying and selling - I think it is because you can sit all day at a car show in the summer and you never know what the crowd will do, but here the real car guys come out and the parts are the focus, along with some socializing!

32 S Maple St, Enfield, CT 06082 Starts early (6AM) and ends early (11AM). Held the first Sunday of each month; December through March. Take Rt190E off I91 North at exit 47E. Go ten traffic lights, turn right onto South Maple Street. 12-15 vendors inside and maybe a couple outside depending on the weather.

Re: Powdermill flea market
There were a lot more vendors there before Connecticut required a tax ID on everyone. In so doing the out of state guys like me stopped selling. I still go more as a social gathering with good coffee and donuts. Looking forward to Sunday Jan. 3rd if we don' get a storm.
