Default 1947 Convertible top hydraulic pressure question

Trying to help a friend. What pressure is normal for a hydraulic pump? Car is 1947 Ford with the stock system, pump mounted on firewall.

Two types of pumps were used by Ford, a high pressure 250-260psi and a low pressure 200-210psi. These pumps can be identified by relief valve plug at the end of the pump, low pressure has cadmium plated plug and high pressure has a copper plated plug. Relief valve for low pressure pump is set at max pressure 210psi, high pressure setting is set at 260psi. (from the 39-48 Ford and Mercury shop manual, Canada)
