Default Shackles with steel bushings

What do you guys think of the bushings offered at snyders with steel bushings and modern grease zerk? I know it’s not like original but I’m ok with that as long as they perform good. Opinions?

They originally had steel bushings. Did not have zerk fittings but they’re better.
As to quality of shackles, Snyder’s usually has “best available “ or will tell the down side if you ask.

Put them in two years ago and they are good. Made off shore but quality is excellent.

In this application, the steel bushings are better than non-ferrous metal bearings, e.g. copper-brass-bronze. Because the sliding peripheral speed is low.

Hard impact loads are given here; therefor hard steel is better suited for this.

Thanks for replies, I had no idea what bushings were used originally as I’ve never taken any part before. I figured since it was mentioned in the Snyder catalog there might be a difference. Will be ordering new ones from them and you are correct, they (Snyders) will tell you if they aren’t the best. They never treat me like everyone should know the answer, they are super nice and helpful. Thanks again
