Re: trying to post pics
Make sure your file is less than 500k and is in the proper file format. Jpegs are the easiest and most successful.

Re: trying to post pics
Do you have your pictures stored at a site like Photo bucket or blue melon?

Re: trying to post pics
Make sure that your photo is no more than 800 pixals wide, otherwise, it will just freeze up and not tell you why.
800 pixals is also a good width for E-mailing. You won't send those giant images, which are hard to see. MIKE (mikeburch) Last edited by FL&WVMIKE; 05-23-2014 at 10:01 AM. |

Re: trying to post pics
I have been using Photobucket for several years now, with no problems. It also automatically sizes them for use in posting.....very easy to use!

Actually ANY web picture including Photobucket can be brought in by this method. Any picture on the 'net has a URL you can determine by right clicking the pix, and then left clicking "properties." Under properties you can see the URL. "Copy" this URL to your clipboard by highlighting it and then left click-copy. Then while making your reply, you type anywhere: {img}URL of picture{/img} Paste in the URL you copied from before. And instead of left and right { you use left and right [ (brackets) I'll type in an image below which looks similar to {img}https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=179239&stc=1&thumb=1&d =1400647850{/img} When done as image, it looks like Or you can use the "insert image" icon which does the same thing automatically.
