Rear Main Oil Pipe
Jim, George, Tom.
Do you know if the place that makes the pipes now, are making them with the original size threads, 3/8's-32, as we are pouring a bunch up, for us and other builders. The very last ones I got, came, 3/8's 28. To replace a pipe in an old style, I can get by with the 3/8's 28, but the pipes that need replaced in the later 3/8's 32, I can't bring myself to cross thread something, when I know it is already wrong. Thanks Herm. |

Herm I do not know. You would think they could get it right. I got a bunch of old caps one time. So I have had enough pipes from them to get by. Just about gone now. George |

Re: Rear Main Oil Pipe
Herm/George - I don't have any idea how many of these drain pipes you guys use a month, but it doesn't look like a hard item to make yourself if there's a problem getting the correctly threaded ones.
