Default headlight wire routing

Is my new headlight cross over wire routed behind or in front of the
radiator? Thanks for the help. This is a '48 Ford-

There should be "clips" soldered to the bottom edge of the radiator that hold the wiring. If they are missing, you are on your own, but I would hazard a wag that they cross over on the engine side.

He edited it after I asked adding the year.
