Default Any speedster owners willing to do me a favor?

I'm trying to figure out if I want to lower my speedster project. Is anyone out there willing to help a dimwit out and post a photo of their speedster and tell me the height to the running board (if it has one), floorboard and top of radiator?

While I can not directly help you, go to Northwest Vintage Speedsters. There is a photo section that might help, even just for ideas.

What years are you talking about. There are basically three different heights for radiators.
I have a 1912 fendered and a 1922 with no fenders.

I would add there are no cut and dried specifications for a speedster. There are way to many different types. While there are a few lowering brackets on the market, or were, mostly it is what and how you want to make one. There are three books if you can find copies;
The Fast Ford Handbook

The Model T in Speed and Sport;

Also; Ford Model T Speed Secrets Handbook;

I'm not using a T radiator or hood, so the height of it is probably the least relevant.

I realize this, if there were blueprints it would be easy. When I find photos some sit higher and some sit pretty low. I was hoping someone could show me a photo and give me a couple of the said dimensions so I would have some frame of reference, like, "That's the look I'm going for, so I'll try to get the floor board 22" off the ground"

If this is the project you are talking about, build it to suit you. It does not have to stand up to the strain of being a road car, just a putt around the grounds rig. If a speedster looks high, it is because it is using standard T parts, if it has been lowered, after marked lowering parts or home made lowering brackets. Asking for heights does not tell you how the car was put together. Do a mock up and see how it looks to you, then build to suit.

My 1912 is 40” from ground to top of radiator, 14.5” from ground to running boards and 25.5” to floor boards.
I can’t load a picture, I’ve tried. If you want a picture P.M. me your email address.

Thanks. I found some photos on the net of speedsters that sit about how I want mine to. Then I noted the relationship of the floorboard to the wheels, running board to the wheels, etc.
