Unknown Water Pumps ????
I have this set of water pumps , that dont look like any others I have. The # s on them are OCM 8503 and OCM 8504 SINGLE PULLEY. any help . THANK YOU SUNSHINE

Merc pumps. Early (49-50 or so) were wide belts and the later Merc (51-53 or so) narrow belts. Very similar in appearance to 8rt truck pumps but the mounting pad is at a different height. The Mercs used a u shaped spacer between the front mount and the pump.

If those pumps are in good condition with respect to corrosion and erosion, they are getting more valuable as cores to the Merc folks. No one reproduces them so you should be able to peddle them on flea-pay or in the swap section pretty easy. |
