Default Fel-Pro 7013 R4 Copper Head Gasket Thickness

Can someone tell me with any certainty what the thickness is of a Fel-Pro 7013 R4 copper head gasket crushed (installed). I need to work out how much to fly-cut my original 6:1 Winfield head.

The pistons currently sit above the deck 0.055’, so if the head gasket crushed is 0.040’, I need to get the head fly-cut to a depth of 0.055’. Thanks in advance.

Chris

Wait, if the pistons pop up above the block .055, just fly cut the head .055. It is what I did with a racing Flathead 8 with Forgetrue Popup pistons, gave me some good high compression having only whatever the thickness of the head gasket is.

That motor ran like a striped ass ape. Whew, the younger days.

the Felpro 7013 is a disappointing fit in the valve area on Snyder's 5.5 and 6.0 heads, and most use the Best gasket instead. You may want to check into this before final decisions/assembly
tbirdtbird, the Felpro 7013 R4 is a great fit on original Winfield crows foot head. It's the only one I have found so far that fits the contour of the valve area without protruding into the chamber. The only thing that worries me is the thin gasket area between cylinders 1 & 2 and 3 & 4.
