Paint Repair Question
A garden implement took a swipe at my coupe (gotta wonder what goes on in the garage at night!) and I am looking at some sanding and bondo repair. As I have no conventional painting equipment I am wondering if I might use the Preval painting system for recoating the damaged area. Anybody have experience with Preval?

Re: Paint Repair Question
I have used them many many times. They are great.
you still have to mix the paint per the manufactures specs, and sometimes a little thinner depending on the paint. Because very little paint is sprayed on as opposed to a gun, you may have to use 4 coats to equal a guns 2 coats That is true with the paint and the clear. You can either spray single stage paint or a base plus a clear with the Preval. After painting make sure you have some lacquer thinner to clean out the tube and spray head. |

Insurance claim for home or auto insurance? Then you could have a body shop repair?

Re: Paint Repair Question
Make sure you let it tack up between coats. When finished you may have to wet sand with 3000. Then polish with 3M ultra fine.
