Default '29 Roadster Windshield

Has anyone ever modified a '29 roadster windshield to pivot forward at the base, similar to a '32? Got pictures? I know I'll catch some flack for this question, but I'm building a non-standard car, aka Hot Rod.

Thanks!

Also, do a search of previous threads... you might find...
Ford of Canada had these on some roadsters ORIGINAL,
Common aftermarket item 1960's-1980's.

Yes, '29 Sport Roadster had them made by Eaton. Super hard to find.

These are stock height. The ones John sells on the HAMB are chopped 2"

In my experience, the aftermarket ones range from decent to down right dreadful in regards to fit & finish, so do your homework.

Thanks so much guys! Now, does anyone have a book "HAMB for Dummies?" I've been on a couple of times, have a handle, password and stuff but whenever I try to get on, I get all frustrated and walk away from the computer!

A fellow barner reached out to me and I have a well used set coming at an attractive price. If nothing else, I'll see if they're what I really want. Quality doesn't appear to be that great but I think that making a new pair of the bases would be a good project.

have purchasers verified these repros can be easily installed as the windshield posts on the '29 roadster are narrow and to me would not accommodate the pictured item.

i bought something like what in pictured back in the 1980s but they were sand castings, not a stamping, and they never fit.
