cross over steering
This may make some of you laugh. I purchased 1946-48 Ford spindles, received today, and was trying to adapt them to 1953-56 F100 drum backing plates to install on a 1931 Model A. Finally came to the conclusion that period of car had cross over steering, is this correct? Any information greatly appreciated!

Re: cross over steering
You can buy a bolt on steering arm if you want it to be drag link style like a Model A.
Cross steer started in 35 and went up to 48 on cars. Pickups were cross steering 35 to 47 |
