Default 1934 cabriolet interior door mechanisms.

Just realized I have one door interior handle to open requiring pulling the other pushing.
May have been changed early in its life or always been that way.
Build date was April/May 34.
Not that obvious as you don't normally open both doors at once but would like them both working the same way (preferably pulling).
Without removing the door panel to investigate fully, is it possible to modify the mechanism to suit either way?

'33 latches lock opposite of early '34 by my experience. Newc

Should have added handles are not at front of doors.

I don't think it would be easy to modify. The two different styles are pictured below in both photos.
