Default 1932-34 Ford Pickup Rear Window Installation

I am getting close to installing the rear glass in a 1934 pickup. I understand how it would be done the original way (leak, leak, leak) but was wondering if anyone has found a more leak proof "modern" way to secure the glass.

Thanks for any feedback!

yes, buy a "u" shaped gasket from Steel Rubber Co. and cut it to fit around the edge of the glass with the joint at the top. Install with new black latex sealer from Home Depot and new nuts bolts and washers. Don't use silicone sealant as you will never be able to paint the truck again. After snugging up all the nuts smooth off the latex and your done!
