Who, where, would be the best to purchase a clutch, pressure plate for my 56 F100.

Possibly NAPA (and I ain't a fan of theirs) ...

Read recently there was some clutch place up around Ohio, Illinois that was highly recommended but cannot remember who they were. Thanks for the info.

I now have had a recall moment, Ft Wayne clutch, anyone have an opinion on their work?

Ft. Wayne used to be the go to place for flathead and other clutches but not so much anymore from what I've heard.That said I don't have any direct experience with them. You might ask over on the HAMB. Another option that has had some good reviews is Kentucky Clutch. Again, no actual experience with them.

I've had good luck with Centerforce. Got their Dual Friction setup and it has served me well.

A few years ago when working on my 35 with 53 merc clutch I got mine at autozone and was very surprised by the quality, still works great, no issues. may not be available anymore but worth a look.
