Horn cover ID's
About a week ago, I found on one of these sites, a way to identify the manufacturer of the Mod. A horns by measuring the distance between the 2 holes in the cover. The holes for the retainer screw and the sound adjustment. I have searched in vain but sure would like to find that site. Can anyone help me with this?
My horn stopped working today. Need to buy a new or rebuilt or repair mine. Any advise is welcome. The supplyers want about 250 for new ones. May have to go that route.

Re: Horn cover ID's
It is original but I think it may need to be rewound. It was acting up so I started to adjust the sound screw. The horn conduit was blistering HOT. Something was shorted to the conduit case. I had this happen once before but was able to stop the short. Don't know how I did it as I just took things down and put it back together and horn worked fine. Not this time. I cannot get it to work on the bench either.
