Default 1950 8RT Flywheel Refacing

In the shop manual, they state that the maximum depth of the cut for refacing a flywheel is 0.045 "

However I can't find any reference as to what the thickness is of an uncut flywheel.

My flywheel originally measured at .955"
After resurfacing it is now at .940"

Is this within tolerance or not?

Regards,

Kirk
