I run an 8ba now. but when i was running a ab i had trouble keeping the stats. in place. Every time i took the hose off the stat. was up in the hose. How do you guys keep them down on the head? Bill |

Re: stupid question of the month
Position the hose clip as close to the top as possible to ensure crimp on the stats edge. Old saggy hoses are a problem...have you got a saggy hose? ;-( |

Re: stupid question of the month
I used new flex hoses as running the 34 rad and useing a 59ab motor the old hoses would not work.. I don't have this problem any more now that i run the 8ba but i might incounter this problem again sometime. The 59ab is on the engine stand and might some day get a complete overhaul for a future project. Thanks Bill |
