I haven't done E-Bay in several years but the 85.7% Positive feedback would worry me if I did.

Have you seen this car in person? Or know any of its history?

Agreed - i dont bother with a seller with less than 97% positive and will pay a bit more if the # of reviews they have is high to get that rating.

Seems seller does not like shipping items.
With that said, with cash in hand and deal made in person, with clean title...would be a good deal.
If he was closer I would go get it, might even be able to work it down to $3000 cash on the barrel head. Take it home right then and there...dependant on the clean title claim.
Just my humble opinion

I noticed this listing on eBay. Seller represents a recent engine rebuild, but the photo of the engine doesn't bear that out. I can't imagine doing a proper rebuild and not cleaning and painting the engine. The PO of my car had the engine rebuilt in the mid 90s and it looks a whole lot better. I could be wrong (my wife says I usually am), but it would concern me.

In the last 12 months there were 2 negatives and both were the same person and the same item.

Remember this is "up for bids" and may never reach the number the seller has "reserved".This is how some sellers "fish" to see interest and $.
You will know in 3 days and 13 hours by being added to the "watch list". Check the bids a few minutes before closing and see where they are at. Chap

The car is listed with out reserve, an absolute auction. Unless the seller is a fraud, the high bidder will own the car.

The paint color is "Blue Denim" - Edsel Ford's favorite.
