transporter needed
Has anybody had any good experience with an upper midwest car hauler? I am looking to have a car transported from the Detroit Michigan area to western Wisconsin, near the Minnesota border. Just asking around for a good yet economical hauler in this area.
Thanks for any names/numbers I can contact. Steve |

Re: transporter needed
I have often seen them advertising in the swap meet section of this website. Take a look there.

Over on the HAMB Bill Squires has been highly recommended.
He is based in Ohio. Call 216 832 8697 I asked him today to bring a body from the Detroit area to me in Iowa. John Worden

Sometimes local towing companies will transport a car very reasonably.

Re: transporter needed
I used Get 'er Done Transport to get my '34 Ford from Chicago to Texas. I paid the ol' boy for the truck on Friday, talked to the transport company on Saturday, they collected it on Monday, and had it to me on Wednesday for 700 bucks.

I've also had luck w/local classic consigners who used private guys only they know about. Also, you can ask local car clubs if there is anyone one of the members can recommend.
