Default 18 wire wheel, pitted spoke question

I have a 18’’ wire wheel with pitted spokes.

Except the visual isn’t perfect, is there any risk to use it on the road ?

I agree with David. Looks structurally sound to me. Run it.

when the model A was introduced with the welded spokes a stunt driver was hired to drive a car on 2 wheels with 1/2 the spokes cut out to prove their strength to the public.

Thanks for your replies.
I forgot to mention that ALL the spokes are pitted.

I had assumed that the whole wheel was in the same condition as the photographed portions.

I think it's safe to drive on but not worth restoring. It takes too many coats of primer to fill in those deep pits. It can be done but your fingers will be bleeding from sanding the spokes. Been there done that and after that on a set of 16" Kelseys, after those rims, I decided it was worth whatever it costs to gets spokes without pits. Powder paint won't hide pits, nothing looks worth than powder painted pits. Use it for now and keep an eye out for a better wheel.

Here is dad and I water sanding '29 Model A spokes around 1969. It wasn't fun then and its even less fun now.

I have heard people speak with a lisp, but never seen someone type with a lisp.

(The devil made me do it. LOL )

Not dangerous to drive. The question is only about estetics.

Bernadette Peters had that talent.

Fella I bought a 31 chevy coupe from once told me he dated BP in that car.........
the far off gaze in his eyes, was well worth the purchase.
