Escutcheon compression tool.
Gary asked me about a photo of the shop made tool to compress the escutcheons so the pin can be installed on the window cranks. Don Bader is the guy that taught me this little helper.

Great tool; thanks for sharing!...and as they say a picture is worth a thousand words...thanks for the 2000 words here with those images...I need one of those this coming weekend...will go to the shop tonight and make up my own Escutcheon Compression Tool.

It can be a bit slippery. I plan on gluing thin rubber on the "prongs" for a better grip. It is a real cuss word saver. LOL

Methinks that the replacement springs are a lot stiffer than the originals.
