Question 32 cast crank pulley ?

There is a cast crank pulley on ebay with pt # 18-6312 on it and there are 3 holes in it Not into 32's so maybe this is old news to you people but it is news to me if it is legit . Is it ? ebay item # 300532913538 it goes off tonight . The pics I have of 32 motors show the normal stamped pulley ? Anyway here's a pic of it . David J

The fact it sold for $ 52.55 after blowing the whistle on it here tells me it wasn't a gennie part . I figured it didn't apply to 33-34 anyway but ya neva sem ta no bout dem deuces !!!!!

David,

There was a cast crank pulley used in partial production in the early part of the '32 model year. It is specifically mentioned in the Rouge engine production log book. Whether or not the one on eBay was genuine is not clear as the ones that I've seen have four holes in them, not three.

The fact that it sold for over $50 suggests to me that at least two people wanted it and maybe knew what they were after as steel pulleys tend not to bring that much.

Dave , Learning is a very good thing and Thanks for the new info { again! } . Needed a nice steel one to get the 5w on the road this spring and I was quoted $225.00 for an NOS one . Went with a nice used one . David J
