Default Gas tank first?

I'm getting ready to pull the body off of my 40 4door. I think I have located all of the body bolts. (Henry really did want the body on tight?!) Now....does the gas tank need to come out first?.....and is it hooked to the body in any way. Obviously I'm a little new at this. Thanks.

Gas tank is not attached to the body. The gas line is attached to the body at the firewall. On some bodies there are bolts that pass through the tool tray to the rear crossmember. Make sure they are removed.

Some aftermarket tanks need the body off or lifter to remove tank.
If you have original tank no problem removing. As I remember there are 22 body bolts.
