Default 1933 standard metal floors under rear seat..need paint

I noticed that the metal floor under my rear seat needs painting.
1933 ford fordor standard Should this be painted semigloss black?

Originally the floor was painted body color, but no great care was taken to ensure uniform coverage or surface quality. If the car before yours on the paint line was painted a different color than yours, the practice was to clean out the spray guns by spraying that previous color into the interior of the next body on the line. It is not unusual therefore to encounter traces of another color in the interior.
