The old adage is you don't know what you have til it's gone holds true. Hurry back Bill and bring that smart little dog Buster T. We indeed miss you both ! Besides that this place is not the same without our mayor !

Talked to dad last night all is still pretty much status quo as Jim mentioned in post #1. He was feeling a little crappy from the meds but seems to have turned that corner. He is very perky and likes the food, but I'll have to see if they have jet fuel coffee available...
I passed on the well wishes from everyone incld all the pm's i received.

Make sure Bill has the best of care and plenty to eat, and lots of nurses to tend to him!! Every one at Smiths repair is praying for his speedy recovery, Don in Indiana

Bill probably likes not having to do the cooking himself .

Push on Bill, I have been in and on a lot hospital stuff. I can't remember the all of the things I have been through. My son says, am modified and I have been revamped. So, to you, think Model A and get well.

I imagine that Buster T is being kept at a home without computer - otherwise we would have heard from Bill already.

We do miss him of course.

Buster T that is.

Maybe kidding.

He is actually a very good cook and enjoys it.. I doubt they are cooking him up squirrel so he'll have to persevere through that. Maybe crosscut can ship him in ready to eat ones

No doubt Bill is keeping himself busy (in addition to chasing the nurses)

Nov 21st is a tentative date to have the break rechecked for fusion and a decision for his return home. Buster is staying with a neighbors dog so he is having a good time and as bill said " he and buster are both tough as nails and can adapt easily to conditions".

OMG jet fuel coffee. I'll never forget the taste. The boilers had to have pure water, we could tolerate a lot of parts per million. LOL
