Default 1931 sedan delivery

Looking for someone in the Florida area that has a sedan delivery that I can look at. I need information on the rear door wood and latch.

I have a restored deluxe delivery in Northern California. I could send pictures to your email if you're interested.

MIke V's pics are of a converted tudor. Do not use for absolute tech. reference. I will see what I may have. I have done two of those but they are gone. B. Terry might can help you as he still has one in progress.

Be careful looking at these pictures. They are not of a 130B sedan delivery, but of a 1930 RHD Tudor delivery here in New Zealand. It is interesting looking back at these pics, as they were taken just before a friend of mine bought the car. He didn't consult anyone and ended up with a real dog!. The car has since undergone a complete ground up restoration, and is now on the home straight, I posted some progress pictures of this a while ago.

Thanks for the replies....I'm still searching. on the delivery. I believe mine is an early 31 and has a metal door plate at the bottom.

Bill - Here is a picture I published previously on the latest with my Sedan Delivery wood. You can see some of the door in the back. I can take another close up picture for you if you think it would help.

It sounds like you don't have much or any of either the door wood or the latch - if so, you have some work ahead of you. As I recall, Richard Utsch in Pennsylvania had to recreate the latch or part of the latch, so you might want to send him an email ([email protected] ) for further info. I have pulled some of the prints for the door wood from the Benson Ford library, but I will tell you making the parts from the prints is going to be tough without having the old parts to make sense of them. If you want, I can make copies and send them your way for the postage.

I'll take you up on any information you can provide. Where did you get the rear door wood? Steve at Classic does not have the wood pattern for the door. I prefer to buy the wood if I can find it. Thanks again for the help. Bill Williams 2826 Deerbrook Dr. Lakeland, FL. 33811

Well, I wasn't gonna say something earlier since I didn't know whose car but the rear window in the door is wrong and the rear body crossmember is wrong amongst other things.

Here are sme pictures of the same car with the paint removed and the bodywork starting to be fixed, and one with the new paint scheme.

Cheers

Thank you Gordon, I never knew there was that much wood in one! If my memory is correct the body is a bit longer than a Tudor, or the "window" in the rear quarter is longer, correct?
