Re: A with Tracks
I contacted Coker a few years ago about 21" paddle tires for my 1929 snowmobile and was told they had no plans to produce them, but would only be producing the 19" tires for the foreseeable future. I was able to find 21" knobby tires which work well as long as the tracks are kept tight.

Re: A with Tracks
Wow, what fun! Too bad we don't have more video of those things. I'd love to see them put to the test in different conditions. That Model A snowcat seemed to take on fairly deep unpacked snow like nothing! How cool! Thanks for showing us these.
Too bad SoCal doesn't get deep snow. Guess we'll just have to content ourselves with 365 days of good road driving weather.

Re: A with Tracks
Have you guys seen the video of the Fordson with screw pontoons to propel it through the snow? Pretty cool.

Re: A with Tracks
I did see the video last night. I have also seen a real one up close at the museum in Fairbanks, although it wasn't operating in the snow like the one in the video. That was pretty cool. I felt bad for the poor horse that just couldn't quite make it.
