Questions about 1957 Thunderbirds,....

OK Guys,...

I hate to admit it,... but I don't know a lot about 1957 T-Birds although I have one,.... I got it out of storage and as I was hanging the doors, I discovered, I can't find the box with the window regulators, door latches, door handles, strikers, striker plates,... etc. ANYWHERE !

A friend has a junk 1957 Ford Custom 300,... do any of these parts work ? or is the door hardware totally unique to Thunderbird's ? (This would be totally weird for Ford to have "Unique" parts).

One more thing,.... the single front engine mount,... Even Carpenter doesn't have em' what gives?

The motor mount is readily available thru Casco 800-374-0914,The window and door regulators and outside handles are unique to 55-7,but some are available also thru Casco.The inside handles are the same as a psgr car.

The latches,striker plates,etc are also readily available thru Casco and other t-bird suppliers.
