Default vibration in steering column

I have 2 A's that have a harmonic vibration from somewhere inside the steering column. I tried search as I remember a member having this problem but can't find the thread oe remember what the solution. Can anybody recall this?

Your spark and throttle levers should have a short rubber sleeve about midway inside the tube. This original rubber sleeve presses against the inside of the tube and keeps the rods from vibrating. Repro sleeves are felt.
