verifying new fuel tank and line
My fuel tank never had fuel in it and was installed by previous owner along with the fuel line. What is the best way to verify that the tank and line are installed properly?

Re: verifying new fuel tank and line
Put gas in it and check for leaks. There is not much to the fuel system. I would visually inspect the lines and then put some gas in it. It is operating on suction between the tank and pump and if it has a leak it won't spray everywhere but it will start leaking when shut off after getting some fuel in the lines. The critical point is between the pump and the carb and that's easy to inspect.
