Default Re: Mac's Lockport, NY closed

When I started doing some work on my 40 to get on the road it had set for12 years in a garage, I ordered a brake rebuild kit from Mac's .When I got into work it snowballed into replacing most of the moving parts under it. When the time came to bleed the brakes he mastercylinder would not pick up fluid. It had little peices of casting inside & rust.I called & got tuff luck because it had been months since id bought it. I even ask if they would send me a rebuild kit .The anawer was a flat no ! This after id spent thousands of dollers with them .Answer LOOK SOME WHERE ELSE !

Hey Ted,
Yes and only our parts inventory was moved to our new warehouse in FL. We still manufacture, inventory and ship our Cartouche brand of interior upholstery kits in NY including a customer service department and NY management.

Thanks!

Remember, if you pick up parts in Lockport, you will pay NY sales tax.

Ha.......Anyone know what ever became of this "Scott" guy?

Email me direct at [email protected]

He was the "REP" that became a member here that was gonna "get-involved" personally to get all the little glitches straightened-out for Mac's customers.

He may have been among the 80 who were laid off.
