Hey fellas I need some pictures and advice on restoring the underhood of my 46 coupe. It may not be exactly Ford Barn material on the outside but I want the underhood and drive train to be restored to original. Its a traditional custom. I know it should be on the Jalopy Journal but I want some advice from guys who know what it looked like new. I want it to look like it was customized in like late 1949. So when you open the hood it looks show room perfect. So I need pictures of wire running, what holes were used on the firewall and for what. Color of firewall and inner fenders. I'm running a flathead put of my dad's 48 tudor that was rebuilt in the early 50s with the stock 3 speed and all stock drivetrain. Any help would be great! Thanks guys!

The term "Lead Sled" comes to mind. Looks like you have a real project!
