Anyone know the part number for a condenser for a stock 6V 41 flathead at napa? Or which condenser is best. Thanks for the help

Try for the IH-200. No difference between 6v or 12v. DD

I had my coil reworked by Skip Haney and he recommended th IH-200. As soon as I installed it the engine ran perfect. Been in there almost 5 years now.

The IH-200 works great with no problems BUT has to be
adapted to fit. The lead wire has to be held to the little lug
on the bottom of the coil with a small screw, lock washer
and nut. The ground or body of the condenser is mounted
on the top of the coil by the long coil mounting screw on the
passenger side with the clamp that comes with the IH-200.

Why would a condenser for a 48 be any different than for a 41?

Jim Linder said once what the optimal capacitance was for stock flathead ignitions. I measured a couple of IH-200 condensers and they weren't what Jim recommended.

There is a NAPA part that physically fits and is the correct capacitance. I don't remember its number right now.

It sounds like the IH-200 works OK. So maybe the value it isn't that critical.

Edit: I see Jim jumped in with the part numbers while I was typing.
