Some Police departments are using CNG, but they had to install blast shields in the trunk and reinforcement against rear impacts. One of those bottles lets loose and the poo poo hits the fan! |

We do ignitions but i also own Linder Fuel Injection www.lindertech.com and service fuel injectors each and every day and ship across the country. Each day i get a set of injectors that smells like corn mash , when we question the customer ( often a repair shop) they say the customer tried to run E85 in a non flex fuel equipped vehicle. To be flex fuel the vehicle has a ton of different parts from the stainless gas tank all the way to the fuel injector. Different programming on the PCM etc. Less power , poor performance , harder starting all come with the E85 so you are 100% correct : DONT PUT IT INTO YOUR VEHICLE !!!!!!!! THERES NO RATIONAL REASON TO RUN THIS STUFF !!! |

Re: e85 fuel
Hopefully some brainiac will figure a way to turn primordial slime into a usable fuel like the mother earth did over a billion or so years of applying pressure and other factors to it. Then we just have to figure a way to produce lots of slime. We should be drinking the ethanol as long as our livers will hold out. I know when the gasoline is no longer available the alcohol will be all we have to keep us happy since it sure doesn't make a car happy.
