Default Carter two bl carb

I just came across a carter 2bl carb in very good condition. It has a 3 bolt base and fits a Ford intake. However I can't find any numbers on it. Anybody ever run one of these?

I can't help very much, but somewhere I think I saw that Carter made a service replacement for Ford V8's. I can't find any info in my old Carter manual.

The Carter carb has the Carter number 3358S. They are a WGD style carburetor. Much easier to tune than a Stromberg 97 or HOLLEY 94. See the attached spec sheet.
