Re: '36 Ford grounding question
Ground strap from engine to firewall was not a standard item in 36. I have never seen one on any 35 or 36 pickup I have ever looked at.

Re: '36 Ford grounding question
Hey Jeff. Everything I am commenting on is for my 36 coupe. I put a ground strap on my 36 (engine to frame). I figured you can't do any harm. I like to run 00 welding cable but haven't yet on the 36. I have only a stomp starter on the floor, no solenoid. I didn't think that they had solenoids in 36? Doesn't mean you can't use one.
00 on the 38 truck with soleniod. Last edited by Tinker; 03-06-2012 at 03:31 PM. |

The + terminal of the battery is connected to the bolt holding the two halfs of the U-joint cover together. The bolt on the drivers side.
