Something different
Good Morning Everyone,
I spend a few days last week in Essen, Germany at the Technoclassica show and came across this Model A. Has anyone seen this model before? |

For those who were sleeping during their American Automotive History class, Gordon was the chief designer for the Auburn, Cord, Duesenberg company, specializing in designing Duesenberg bodies. When the new Model A design ('30-'31) came out he bought a chassis (which included the normal 'forward of the steering wheel, body) and had a few of his friends at the Duesenberg factory (after normal work hours) build a custom body of his design. the finished product shows remarkable similarity to the custom built cars of Germany - like the one you picture in your post #1.
