Mallory dual point distributor ??
Hello to All,
Does anyone know if the mallory distributor can be connected to a manual cable tach ? Thanks! |

As far as I know, no Mallory distributor for the Model A has had a tach drive for a cable. There are at least 3 versions of the early Mallory, and they came in dual point or single, and several newer versions some of which were single or dual point.

There were tach drives made back in the "A" days that mounted on the front of the cam cover but good luck finding one of those. The most popular option was off the nose of the crank. Unfortunately, there is not room to do this on a stock A without cutting out some of the cross member. Here's a pic of one I had awhile back. |
