Smile Perch bolt hole diameter.

What should the Perch bolt hole diameter be in the front axle, and what is the difference between that hole and the Perch bolt shaft diameter? Would it be .0005"?

I don't think .0005 is necessary since the seat of the perch and the nut are both countersunk. They will locate the perch.

Don't both countersunk parts locate off the wishbone not the axle?

I've never seen the specs, but you might be close as so many lock in tight with a little rust. I always use antiseize on the perch shaft. I'm still soaking a 1928 front axle to try to save the parts. Not even the kingpin locking bolts will budge, and it doesn't look that rusty.
