Default Original Tail lights

Does anyone have any pictures showing original teacup tail lights especially the "Duolamp marking" compared to the reproduction units?

Thanks
Jim

All I have are the 3 "D" nuts, where the bracket mounted on Vermin. Seems as though most were changed to the fender mounted tail lights.
I know of 3 cars that use the 3 "D" nuts, to mount their C.B. antennas.

In the new Standards, I have not been able to find any pictures, yet. I know that I have seen pictures at one point or another, but I don't remember - it has been a few years. I know that there is a tail lamp that has the "Duolamp" in raised letters and also a tail lamp with the "Duolamp" recessed or stamped. I have the tail lamp with the raised "Duolamp" on my 30 Town Sedan (Murray) now, but are they the correct one's? I also bought one with stamped letters at a flea market at one time. Which is the authentic one?

Bill W. - my tail lamps on located on the fenders - thanks for the information of the "D" nuts

SeaSlugs - thanks for the information but haven't found any pictures in the new Judging Standards yet.

I haven't looked at the repro teacup lights, but the repro drum 1928 I bought from A&L was great. All the originals I'd seen had too many cracks.

Now that photo posting is working again (Thanks Ryan).

Here are a few originals, I don't have a repro to compare.

The First 2 are steel commercial housings (for Pickup & AA), the second 2 are brass nickel plated, the last one is stainless steel.

Please post your pictures here as well for we have a thread that can be searched in the future with original and repros.

That first picture in #8 shows a defect in the O.
I wonder how many others were stamped like this before the problem was corrected?
