Default 39 toploader gear oil

Looking for suggestions to help shifting the transmission in my truck. Has anyone used Red Line MTL (Manual Transmission Lubricant) ? It's SAE 70W80 GL4.

Thanks

I use 250W Lubriplate and it makes the trans shift better and somewhat quieter.

There has been discussion on this board about not using GL5 as supposedly that stuff eats bright metal. I use Amsoil GL4 that I had to chase around to find.
