Default Rebuilding Guages

Does anyone have a source for rebuilding original guages. I have a '48 Mercury and not one guage works. Had a mechanic test them and they're getting signals but aren't registering or working 100% of the time if at all.

Thank you in advance!

Bobwellsnoveltyshop has gauge clusters listed in the for sale forum. Send him a pm.

You can install any gauge up to '85 in place of your original gauges. All yo need to do is use your original face and pointer and make sure the sweep is the same direction. I like to use gauges out of mid to late '70's Torinos, Rancheros, Tbirds, and montegos with the gauge option. The gauge is a 6 volt gauge with a voltage reducer to drop it to 6 from 12volts. Fords went to magnetic 12 volt gauges after that and we had the same problems GM had. All us ford mechs wished they nevver changed.
