29 Tudor gray paint code for the interior window frames

Does anyone have the paint code for the gray colored paint used for the interior window frames for a 29 TUDOR?

Is that color available pre-mixed?? If so, who has it??

I had the chip in the paint guide book scanned and this is what I got. I used it in my tudor. This is for PPG Concept single stage paint.

Grey is not correct. brownish yellow is.

Mine is gray original color showing underneath where it hasn't been destroyed. I think they might have changed color later in 29 when the interior color changed.

The car that I am restoring was built April 29 Would that be gray window trim?

I had a member send me a photo of his car (29 Tudor) and it looks gray.

Judging standards say gray. It goes with the Blue Hairline interior on the early '29s.

Sorry, made a mistake. Light buff is for after mid 1929. With brown interior. PPG IM 022 is correct. Moulding Gray that is.

Try BATTLESHIP GREY, it goes with most anything.

I was wondering about that. This is not going to be a show car--just a nice driver for it's owner. I have several aerosol cans of gray in my shop--I'll have to check them out.

Here is a photo of the frames as I received them--the color looks pretty close to battleship gray to me!

I painted mine battleship gray in the 70's, then when I restored the car in 2006 I had the correct color scanned and used that. the formula I posted is the closest I have seen to correct. If correct does not matter, a spray bomb will perhaps do.

Gray is only correct in 1928.

Someone started working on the interior before I got the car and they were planning to use gray fabric. They had painted the trim pieces gray. I have a can of "Smoke Gray" Rustoleum--it is a perfect match to what they used (whether it is a authentic color or not, I have no clue) That the way I am going.
