Well, it was half of an old seal. I want to thank everyone for their help and to John Mason for reminding me that there is only one way to do things, the right way. I'm sure it will all go together correctly now.

Excellent. Be sure to install new seal with
correct side facing towards the rear of car. Be gentle. Take photos. |
