Default i will be painting my windshield this week have a question

hello I have a new hinge gasket and a new frame gasket dose anyone have a photo of how they mount ? the frame gasket do you cut them at the corners or is one peace all the way around

Its your car and you can do what you want, but I would think it would be hard to see where you are going with a painted windshield.....but thats just me...☺☺

cut the frame gasket on angles at both bottom corners to form a point to match the W/ shield frame 45deg. when your done you will have 3 separate pieces

make sure you crimp the metal retainer that holds the gasket back down good all the way around. if not it will scratch the body when the w/shield is closed...

install long and wait over night for it to shrink back before you do the final trim on the 45 degree angles.
