Brak options for a 26 T
My ex fairground racer is destined to go on the road again here in the UK, I have been looking at the various brake options, at the moment it has none (apart from the trans brake) I see that the AC ones are only suitable for models to 1925 - so what are the options
The car currently has Model A rear wheels welded to T hubs on the back, I probably will have to change to T hubs, on the front are a pair of 16" tracctor solid wheels and T hubs

Rocky Mountain Brakes are available for both early & late brake drums. They use their own cast iron drums & are consequently more expensive than the AC set up. Several of the suppliers sell them - Lang's etc.

Those are NOT model A wheels on the back of the car pictured.
If you intend to go on the road with 4 people in a touring car you need the Rockies. They use your original T large drums so they are much cheaper than the '25 and earlier Rockies which come with a larger cast iron drum that goes over the small drum.. |
