Re: Oil canister for EAB 52 Ford
I have a mig welder and I would totally weld that if it was on my car. I'm not a pro welder by any stretch, but after welding you can grind/file it down and paint it. Nobody will ever know. Except you.

I welded mine up (Ford included crack in purchase price at no extra charge) 25 years ago.

Re: Oil canister for EAB 52 Ford
This is, except for the carb and air filter, a stock 52 EAB Fordomatic. ( now someone is gonna inform me that Fordomatics ain't EAB's ).
Fordomatics are EAB's too, but 8BA heads aren't. Sal |

What about '51's? Looks like you've had some "replacement" going on in the engine compartment.

Re: Oil canister for EAB 52 Ford
My ‘50 had the same silvery mud in the bottom.....I took the canister off to make cleaning easier......I use the methods as others above.....draw the old oil out and wipe it clean.....Mark
