Re: 23 TT on the road now
Wick, nice looking TT. In the early TT years, Ford did not build bodies and yours looks custom. Appears to have an auxillary transmission and one of those useless water pumps. Also the transmission cover almost looks like it is a 26/27 style??
I have a 24TT that my family bought new to help haul things for a family cotton gin. I rebuil the engine and run it around the farm and occasionally the 8 miles to the nearest town. It does not have an auxullary transmission and is very slow. |

Re: 23 TT on the road now
Shes gonna stay close to the way she is now. I might cover the roof. I removed the side window/flaps because they were comming apart from driving. bands still need changing. Top for coil box wont go on,I dont think there ever was one on it. drives great,smooth...Ive tightened all the body bolts and screws. She goes into her first show in a couple of weeks.

Re: 23 TT on the road now
Im fixing up a 23 TT in my shop. Supposidly an old California truck and has no rust on it. I was told it has an express bed if that's a real thing.

Re: 23 TT on the road now
The bed has metal fixtures, the sides were still in the barn it came from.man was supose to save them for me,well the barn was torn down and all was lost.
This truck has a extended frame behind the cab. Also I have a Express body thats 7 feet long I picked up a couple of years ago. I bought that at a auction...Nice solid piece. |
