Mac's survey
Anyone else get an email customer satisfaction survey from Mac's (Eckler)?

Yep, what Craig said. And I live close enough to be able to drive to them. Its my understanding that the business has changed hands, maybe the new owners are trying to fix things.

Re: Mac's survey
After Christmas I took advantage of their Offer, to Buy over $149.00 and received Free Shipping. Of course I bought a New Front Spring and some other Heavy items. Was a Good Deal for Me, the Spring was of Good Quality, I saved around $34 in Shipping costs on the Order. And because I had it shipped to Florida, I saved another 8% NYS Sales Tax, over being sent to my Home in NY. I also think it still took 6 days by UPS to Florida.
I Don't know if the Order was under the New Owner's. At home in NY, if I use them it takes 4 days to reach Me, and I live about 250 Miles from them, 5 Hour Drive!! Go Figure. I mostly use Snyder's, and Brattons, faster shipping, and cheaper shipping from both as I Specify USPS Priority Mail and receive orders in 3 Days some times 2 Days!! |

Re: Mac's survey
I don't buy from them because of NYS Sales Tax, but have had good dealings with Eckler's Corvette Parts (fair prices, quick shipping, and reasonable customer service). Gosh, I used to work for Doug MacIntosh, who started Mac's, when he was a surveyor - many, many, many moons ago.

Re: Mac's survey
I got the survey also, but I couldn't really enter my issues or problems into it because of the limited multiple choice format. I don't have confidence in their parts being correct. For example, I bought headlight conduits for my A that were way too long. I didn't figure this out until after doing a lot of wrangling trying to make them fit. I found one original in my spare parts box and that answered the question. Also let me compare quality. I ordered a set from Bratton's and got parts that were right, and good quality. There are other good sources as well, but Mac's has slid way down on my list. I hope the new owners will be an improvement, I hope so.

Re: Mac's survey
I also took the survey. I don't think they will like the results of mine, assuming they read it. Maybe, like someone above pointed out, the new owners will improve things. Unless I hear a number good thing about them, I wont know if they have improved or not as I don't buy from them anymore.

I got the survey but almost never answer them. I have made a few purchases from them no problems or complaints except that their prices seem a little high so made purchases on sale items.

Well, I might just be lucky, but, at least under the old owners, I never had any troubles or complaints. Haven't ordered from the new owners. I always liked their dog mascot.

Over the last few years, I have purchased some items from them and of the items I purchased, they worked OK for me. But I did encounter some bad customer service a couple of years ago.

Re: Mac's survey
They've always acted like you were bothering them when you called.
Kids gave me a gift certificate for Christmas a few yrs ago - refused a faxed copy of it, wouldn't process my order until they had the actual cert "in hand" (and they are numbered - like a check) Took them over a week and a half to ship my order No more Mac's - unless they "clean house" |

Re: Mac's survey
I've never ordered parts from Macs, heeding the warnings from club members and this forum but I did order a catalog last year from their website, I don't remember having to pay for it.
But since then they have been relentlessly emailing me their monthly specials. (which I don't mind as I never get tired of looking at A's and their parts) No other vendor emails me unless it is to confirm an order. However, IMHO making all parts offered at the lowest price all of the time and thus not having special monthly mark downs to advertise is the way to get and keep my business. |

Re: Mac's survey
I know Macs, Bratton and Snyders. I have parts ordered from all. And I am happy with all three.
The service of Mac is fine. I was always served fast and friendly. Partially not even a week until the parts came across the Atlantic. Very fast. But, the freight costs are slightly higher for Macs than for the other. The parts are partly more expensive. For me, all three are fine. About the new owner (Ecklers) I know nothing, because I do not have a say. Let's see how this develops with the new owner. They need to also give them a chance I think. Re: Mac's survey
When did Eckler's take over? I've ordered from them in the past for my '51 Chevy (can I use that word here?) and have been pleased with them. I even had to send back a master cylinder and had no problems. With Mac's when I got my Model A I loved their catalog, it was the best but then lately I found that with Snyders or Brattons the parts were at my doorstep in about 2 days and their shipping was reasonable. Mac's it was over a week before the parts even shipped and their shipping was higher so I haven't used them in some time now.

Re: Mac's survey
I have had both good and bad experiences ordering from Mac's,if you pay the Extra $3.50 the order goe's out quicker, and very slow to ship if you don't. but what a relief to get the part you need.I order from them when my preferred Vendor is out of stock on the pieces I need. Did not bother to fillout the Survey they sent

I have delt with Macs, they are not my idea of a good supply house as I feel that the people that take the orders are not knowledgeable in what they sell, many parts seem to be poor quialty and shipping is high.

Wow Franchise 24, now tell us what you really think!
I don't believe that anyone here is bashing with hurtful intent. The folks who have contributed to this and other threads are sharing experiences they have had. And as the saying goes...Fool me once shame on you, Fool me twice shame on me. "for me I have ordered from Sacramento Vintage Ford only once and will never order from them again. If the new owners of Macs want to compete for anyone's business then they will have to work for it. And the survey seems to be a step towards improving. |

As Richard Dawson would announce:
SURVEY SAYS: Love = 10 Hate = 20 Neutral or just bashed each other, not Macs = 15 (so far)

Re: Mac's survey
I have brought a bit of stuff from Macs. Never had any issues - sometimes slow to ship, because something was out of stock... BUT they let me know it would be delayed a week, and shipped my whole INTERNATIONAL order together, instead of leaving out the bits.
I used them, because the other US based places I contacted NEVER EVER replied with shipping costs after I emailed them with the list of parts I wanted. I have never heard from them, and that has been many months (NO, it's not in my junk folder, I check it every day!) They also had all the bits I wanted at the time, where some of the other places only had bits and peices, so I'd have to do multiple orders (Gets expensive with international shipping) I do have contacts for some good places here in NZ now though, and will buy most things here (where possible).

Re: Mac's survey

I have concerns about Mac's business practices, in that thier prices are almost ALWAYS higher than Snyder's or Bratton's or Mike's. They have a lot of "specials", but these just bring the price close to the regular prices everywhere else. Also, I am dismayed that they have monthly "sales" which they email to me, causing me to order parts, but only to find out that the very next month, they put the same part on special in a different sale for even less than the "sale" price the month before. In November, I ordered parts for 10% off, only to find that in December, the same parts were 15% off. Even at 15% off, they were just coming down to Snyder's or Bratton's regular price. I think that this is deceptive. I completed the email survey, but it had nowhere to indicate this concern - it was all "yes" or "no" questions, or ratings from 1-5. I hope somebody from Mac's is reading this - you need this feedback from a person who has given you over $1500 in business in the past 2 months, but will likely shop elsewhere in the future. |

Anyone that has a wife that frequents the fabric stores knows that ploy. My wife just goes ape over those 50% off sales. All that means to me is that it's priced too high in the first place!

Re: Mac's survey
re: Mac's- the first supplier I dealt with after buying our first model A in 1986.
never had any customer service issues, just dissatisfied with quality of parts. switched to Bratton's and never looked back. re: this thread- just like the Bratton's thread, there's equal opportunity for likes and dislikes to be posted. I don't see any double standard.......

Re: Mac's survey
Franchise,
While some of us give Macs a thumbs down here, we are not speaking up about the specifics of our transactions with Macs that gave bad service, changing prices after the order was given and the who gives a hoot attitude. The Model A Highway has it's bad curves and Macs is one of them for me. Last edited by Skibb; 01-22-2013 at 10:27 AM. |

Re: Mac's survey
Below is a response from Matt Jordan, CEO of Eckler Industries;
posted by Darlene Waldmiller, Marketing Manager at MAC’s: We appreciate the candid feedback from everyone. This helps us prioritize and focus our efforts at making MAC’s a better company. We’re working hard to put into place new systems and procedures that will speed up shipping and improve service levels. While I can’t promise that the transition will be without snags or hitches, I can promise that we are focused on driving improvement. I hope that those who are satisfied with MAC’s performance will find their service much better, and those that have not had a good experience will give us the opportunity to show what we can do over the coming months. Thank you again for your honest feedback – we sincerely hope to use this to make for a better customer experience. Regards, Matt D. Jordan CEO, Eckler Industries, Inc. |

Re: Mac's survey
I am in Melbourne Australia and have dealt with several stores in the U.S. similar to Macs, and i have found Macs to be the most helpful and the friendliest to deal with, After experiencing issues with other stores, i will now only deal with Macs, Whenever i contact them i seem to deal with Ms Sam C, She is always extremely friendly and helpful and i have never had one bad dealing, I hope my service stays as good as it is now !!!

Re: Mac's survey
Really glad to read about some positive experiences. It is so often the case in life that we only hear about the bad in something and not the good. I'm sure ( or at least hope) that for every unsatisfied customer that Macs has, they have two or more happy ones. And judging from the comments from Ekler's CEO Mr Jordan and the helpful Ms Sam, they intend to create more happy experiences.
"Personally I wish there were more businesses like Macs and all the other venders who sell Model A parts in every Continent, County, State, City, Town and Niehgborhood. Let them sell coffee and donuts too and the world would be a better place." |

Glad to see the reply back from Ecklers. Mac's used to be fine, it was the past year or so that something changed and the shipping went up but got slower. Hopefully they can right the ship.

Re: Mac's survey
In the Netherlands you can buy Model A parts through Adams Classic Cars (www.Adamscc.nl). We are a dealer for Macs (as well as Snyders, Vintique and others).
As for the service of Mac's, we have no complaints. As stated before in this thread, things can go wrong, but it's usually about how issues are resolved. I sure have had issues with Mac's in the past but Mac's have always come through solving the problems. Of course this may be the wholesale side of Macs, but that's the only side I know. |

I just ordered a head gasket from Mac's and expected a week and a half delivery as usual. To my surprise it came in two days. The shipping was $10s, but I don't think you can ship for less these days. JB

Colored pictures in the catalog are fine, if you think you need that amount of detail, but paying for that small amount of so-called extra class with the exobant shipping costs is unrealistic. Sorry .....no more parts from Macs

Both good and bad, but mostly good.
Have found their parts more reasonable then most and not bad shipping, as I live nearby. Customer service sometimes leaves something to be desired though, as they appear to have minimum wage workers with no knowledge.... |

As i was your primary dist. rebuilder for quite a few yrs and ocationally did a carb or 2 for you. Kind of glad you switched to someone else as it was getting too much for me 1 man to handle anymore. Thanks for the help and yes Jon is a great guy to deal with. The best to you. ken ct. Re: Mac's survey
During my resto over the last three years I have probably made over 30 orders totaling over a 100 parts with Macs. It can be said that my A is the Mac's catalog. Never had a problem with the exception of a couple of poor repro headlight parts. I bought gray seat belts in Jan 2010. Decided to have my interior done in brown and tan which was done a couple of months ago. I was thinking of dying the gray seat belts brown, but I decided to call Macs and see if they would consider a exchange after three years. I called Macs and they said they would exchange my gray seat belts for dark brown ones even though it's three years later. Not even charging me a restocking fee! So I have no problem with Mac's.

I have had no problems with Mac's. Recently I ordered the wrong part and they took it back and refunded my money with no problems. I don't wait very long for the pieces to show up at my house. Always good to come home to a bunch of Ford Parts.

I've never had a problem with Macs either. I'm also a dealer for them and have had them call me when backordered parts are in stock. They are still slower than dealing with Snyders or Brattons.

Re: Mac's survey
I have to say overall that I like Mac's and order from them more than anyone else. I received a survey too and told them that the biggest issue is not shipping, not personnel, not the pricing, but the quality of some of their parts. For example, last summer when I installed a newly rebuilt flathead V-8 in my `51 Ford pickup, I put in a new pressure plate, new clutch and new throw out bearing, all made in China from Mac's. Within a day or so the clutch started chattering and the throw out bearing was squealing. It is a lot of work to pull the transmission to replace these items once again. I found a USA made throw out bearing and hopefully can get an original Ford pressure plate and clutch rebuilt at Fort Wayne Clutch. Still, it is a lot work for something that should have been right to start with. I know new American parts are almost impossible to come by, but I would be willing to pay more and be a lot happier with good quality American made parts. Other than that I have no beef with Mac's. Their prices are competitive with other vendors and I ordered some parts late yesterday and they shipped today, and I did not pay extra for the fast ship option...

The other thing I noticed with shipping is to say you want it RUSH. Not sure if its just for dealer accounts or not but depending on the time it may go out the same day.

Re: Mac's survey
I have not received the survey and am kind of disappointed. I have (had) dealt with Mac's since the early '90's. Lately the shipping has become very slow (2 to 3 weeks to fill and order) plus shipping time and very expensive. I have heard the same thing from other members in my MAFCA chapter too. I have gone elsewhere with my last couple of orders. Sorry Mac's.

and of course not pleased about the extra freight costs. I purchased a radiator shell from a local Australian vendor, again made in R.O.C. looked nice, but poor sharp edged finish and the metal is not as good as the originals. Why do some vendors not accept your charge card with their on line order system---makes it difficult for first time buyers, faxes and the like. This is not a vendor bashing episode, but it has happened.

Re: Mac's survey
One thing I agree with, and simply can't understand why you continue to buy from them, is, if the quality is bad why buy from them? That has been my complaint about them, is they don't carry the best quality part when a few sources are available. More Chinese stuff than the other vendors. Their prices are often lower, but not always.
Russ/40 If you have a source for a new American made clutch and pressure plate for my `51 F1, please share it with me. I'll be happy to deal with them.

That was my next step as I mentioned in my first post. But I need originals to get rebuilt, as I don't believe Fort Wayne sells new sets. eBay is a good source but some of them are Chinese made like I have. The Chinese made are easily identified; there are no adjustments on the pressure plate. I sold the old ones along with the 6 cylinder engine that I removed from the truck knowing I had a source for new ones. Thank you for your help.

Re: Mac's survey
Well, I didn't know this thread was on the Model A part of the Ford Barn. Yesterday I put a thread on the Early V-8 site saying I was done with Mac's. I didn't know ownership changed but found out that shipping sure has changed. I was ordering two B fuel pump kits, two V-8 points sets, two condensers. You could hold all of it in the palm of one hand, merchandise under $180 yet shipping was $29.99 That's it for me with Mac's. I never had any problem with quality of parts or shipping time but this shipping is unreasonable. I know what I was ordering could fit in one medium sized flat rate box at the post office for around $10.
If Mac's goes back to a actual shipping cost charge then I will consider doing business with them but now it's Snyders and Brattons for me. Glad to see I ain't the only one on this island of disappointment. Maybe there is enough of us that they will change the policy. Looks like several thousands of dollars of sales lost just in this thread with the above 110 post. |

Re: Mac's survey
I had a very large order of rear end parts with them last year. My ring gear was not in stock and I waited 3 months for them to get it. I would call about every week and would get told they should have them in stock next week then nothing. I guess don't promise what you cannot deliver. I finnally gave up and spent more ordering from Snyders but they have always had VERY fast shipping, excellent communication when things were out of stock, and a well laid out website that is easy to navigate. Brattons has also been good to deal with and has had excellent service. It seems many vendors have ways to put themselves out there over the competition in different areas - either by having parts manufactured to their own specifications and being very up front about which ones are best and where they are made, or having original parts on hand, or making their own wiring sets, proximity to me, etc. Macs catalog details, ordering, and shipping cost and expediency do not impress me like the others and with them being all the way out in NY it gives me little reason to do business with them over other vendors.

Re: Mac's survey
I just placed my order with Joe's. Exact same order as I had the problem with mac's. Mac's shipping charge was $29.99 while Joe charged less than $9.00 And we had a very pleasant conversation. Only way I will consider doing business with Mac's again is if they are the only one with something available.
Thanks guys for making me aware of Joe's. |

Re: Mac's survey
I am a New Macs customer. I have been buying from Sac Vintage for years because I can drive there. But lately 50% of what I want is back ordered. So I decide to try Macs. What gets under my skin is they ask me to pay $3.50 to prioritize my order in their system. I am not worried about the $$, it is the principle, asking me to pay extra for what should be normal customer service. I made an order two days ago and it has still not been processed, shipped or charged to my card. Guess I should have popped for the $3.50. Every order from every customer should be treated as priority, period.

Re: Mac's survey
Macs has tanked. I used to be a loyal customer and spent over $3k per year in just mail order. No more. The high shipping, sales tax and botched orders has ended my relationship with them.
Eklers, Macs or who ever you are. You have fouled up a good company. Good bye!!! |

I thought about giving Macs a try, but when I needed a vacuum wiper rebuild kit and saw they wanted $61.00 for the exact same kit I got at Gas Light for 19.99, I said no thanks. :-(

Re: Mac's survey
The only problem I have had with the new macs is the still are slooow. I placed a small order (under $50) when I got their new catalog it took them a week to ship it, placed a similar order with Snyders it shipped the next day.

Re: Mac's survey
I am surprised at the complaints that Mac's is expensive. Overall I have found them to cost less. Regarding the time to ship, I guess a lot of guys on this board are retired and have nothing better to do then to wait for the postman. I have found shipping time adequate.
My complaint is horrible customer service-minimum wage employees that know nothing about parts-order takers if you will. And for that, I will never use Macs again. Enough is enough. Well, it was fun to beat the dead horse.... |

Re: Mac's survey
Well Ron, maybe on some parts they are cheaper, but how can you explain them charging 3 TIMES the price of other places on a simple wiper kit? That's enough to make me not give them a second look I'm afriad.

The customer service person who took my call couldn't have tried harder to be responsive and understanding...clearly she'd been schooled in improving customer service satisfaction. It took a little longer than it should have, problem partly due to multiple computer systems at Mac's assigning two order numbers?? Not sure I know why or understand why that is, but it was offered as an explanation. The first half of the order arrived quickly by mail, but where they dropped the ball imo is that the second item on the order is back ordered...I received no notification that it was on back order...and the order was placed over two weeks ago. Upon confirming it was on back order, but having no idea until when, they have offered to contact supplier and let me know how much longer. You could argue that this should be standard procedure on all back orders; especially notifying the customer with a status update, which is pretty standard practice on internet orders in general. Like I said, not a critical item, so I'm not all that upset, which wouldn't be the case if it was a critical item. The customer service person was very responsive and trying to make things right (clearly not arrogant as had been reported by others in the past). Sounds like there order system is being merged with another or being replaced by another and causing a few glitches. As a matter of fact, it was down while we were speaking and she was taking notes to enter when it came back up. Personally, I have ordered from just about everyone in the space and haven’t been real unhappy with any body. Obviously someone has made an investment in Mac’s and it stands to reason that no one does that unless they want to own and grow a profitable business. Taking a customer satisfaction survey is a sure example of management wanting to hear it all so they can begin to address as much as possible, as fast as possible; because no one buys a business to run it poorly and lose their investment. It does take time to fix some things, like ordering systems etc…it doesn’t take any time to fix arrogance and that seemed to be gone completely, and replaced with a very positive behavior. Clearly everyone should and will do business with whoever they wish to, as will I. But there is one thing to keep in mind, we all win when there is more competition for our business then when there is less competition. So I for one wish the new management the best of luck. george |

Re: Mac's survey
I am kind of new to the Model A world but have bought all my parts at Berts. No handling charge, and shipping confirmation W/tracking number, 2 hours after they opened. I call that pretty good service. Also great folks to talk to if you need advice, which I seem to need a lot of.

Re: Mac's survey
I placed an order with Macs on April 3rd, small order. At the order form there is a question as to how to handle back-orders, I checked the box to tell them to contact me in the event of a back-order. On the 4th I received an email from Lucy in CS to tell me that one item was back-ordered, and what did I want to do about it. I wrote her back on the 4th to cancel the B/O item and ship the balance. On the 5th she wrote back that the order had been shipped. On the 6th I received a formal shipping confirmation with UPS Tracking. I just tracked the order and it was indeed picked up on the 5th, and out for delivery to my address today.
All in all, so far a positive experience. This was my first order with Macs, (and my first order for "A" parts). I chose them because of their proximity to me in NH, I figured I might get the parts a little faster. But it seems that UPS from NY to NH is 4 days, not much different than if I ordered them from left coast. We do not have many alternatives for parts in the Northeast. I do however completely object to the policy of shipping fees based upon dollars spent, before my next order I will have to do some more investigating. According to UPS this box weighed in at 3.5 lbs, seems a bit heavy to me based on the order, but I will weigh it when it comes in.

I use Joe's a lot too. I have recommended him on the AACA forum a couple times this year. The best thing about Joe's is that when you call Joe's, you are dealing with Joe.

Re: Mac's survey
I have bought parts from all, and from where I am in NJ Snyders was the fastest delevery. However, I had the wrong parts shipped to me from two out of the three. I have also made orders from Snyders and the parts came to me double bagged...the inside bag was marked Mac's. So as far as I'm concerned, there are only a few manufactures of the same parts and they all buy from the same house. I buy the one's that are the right one's for the car period. It's the service I've had a problem with...not the parts. Just ship me what I orded in a timely maner....so far as that's concerned...Brattons is high on my list.

Re: Mac's survey
As a follow up to my previous post, the package arrived from Mac's. It did weigh in at 3.5 lbs as it was listed. They charged me 10.99 for freight. According to the UPS website, I would have paid 13.81 for the same box. Although the UPS website says two days to deliver, not sure why mine took four.
All the parts I ordered were licensed Ford parts, so I have to presume that they are OK and to spec. So I guess on this order anyway Mac's met my expectations. ct1932ford, according to Joe's website they only handle 1932 to 47 parts so they were not included in my comments. Mitch, I will probably give Tams a shot, they are closer to me, but the freight was higher the Macs, the prices for the items that I purchased were higher as well. I have to presume they would both have sold me Ford Licensed Products. And IMO Tam's website is a bit more difficult to navigate.

Re: Mac's survey
Last year I placed an order with Mac`s . After a week of placing the order Mac`s called and said they were putting the order together and I should have the order in a week . Got the order ten days later . Lets see 24 day delivery vs Snyders 4 day delivery . Plus at Snyders you can actually talk to someone that knows/has model A . Same for Berts and Brattons .

Re: Mac's survey
You have to wonder why some members have had very good experiences with Mac's while others have not. I am beginning to think that it might depend on exactly what you are ordering. No one carries large inventories anymore in retail sales. How many times have you heard from retailers (of all characters) "...we don't have it in stock, but we can order it for you." Sometimes a customer will have to wait while the part is aquired from the distributor or manufacturer. Some people are more patient than others. I don't mind waiting seven days to get a part (seven days is the longest I have had to wait for a part from Mac's), for others, a seven day wait is intolerable.
It seems all of the overseas members who have chosen to comment have had positive experiences while all of the negative comments are from people here in the states. Maybe it's cultural. Some want it NOW, while others are patient and willing to wait. As for the parts, it seems that Joe's, Drakes, C&G and Mac's get their parts from the same source lots of times. I've ordered parts from Joe's and when they came, the parts were Drake parts. No big deal. Lot's of the complaints are about the cost of shipping, and I can sympathize. I purchased several small pieces that could have fitted in a large envelope, yet I was charged about $8 for shipping. Not thrilled about that, but the pieces arrived at my home in three days. That aint bad. Last edited by TonyM; 04-09-2013 at 04:23 PM. |

Re: Mac's survey
Licensed Ford parts only mean thay can use the name Ford and the Ford part number. It has NOTHING to do with quality!!!

Re: Mac's survey
Wow...do you guys really know what you're talking about???? I was chastised for bad mouthing Snyder's for sending me the wrong parts! There are what... maybe two manufacturers making these parts??? The three of them buy from the same guys, tack there profits to the parts most used and sell them to us. I have bought parts from all three and all three have different prices for the same parts. My only problem with them is the time shipping and the cost of shipping and shipping me the parts I ordered according to the numbers on the order...not what you think I ordered! I have ordered parts from Snyder's and they were double bagged...the last bag was marked Mac's. Maybe once in awhile you might get a part not up to Ford specs...but none of it is NOS. My only problem is with the SERVICE...when I order a part...send me only the part with the number I order...that saves me time and them shipping...not asking much!!! So far...Bratton's is the only one that I have never had a problem with...but I still order from he who has the cheapest price and the fastest shipping..That's my only concern!

The orders were delivered a week after they were sent. GA & NY to CA. The pinion I received did not have the .005" step so I did that, still a deal. The gasket kit that I got didn't give the thickness of the banjo gaskets so I sent an e-mail to joshg@macs that night and had the answer in the morning. Nothing wrong with that. I screwed up a seal and turned to the local parts house for that and other odds 'n ends. I like to spread it around. I shop, I compare, I buy. P.S. Summit ships free BUT, they charge for handling. |

when you shop price compare apples to apples. for 399 you got the chinese ring and pinion, much lower quality product than the usa made sets. thats one reason the step was not machined on the pinion. the cheap gasket sets are crappy also, i like the BEST brand gasket set. some of the suppliers dont even offer the offshore diff sets due to there quality so thats why you didnt see them on their sites. |

I once ordered a quart of straw-colored lacquer from Mac's. Somebody called just to make sure I wasn't intending it for wheels, in which case I would want enamel. I didn't want it for wheels, but I thought that was a nice thing for them to have done anyway.

Re: Mac's survey
I've driven there to pick up items and waited for someone to come out of the back to serve, one customer that was there before me had to call the 1-800 # to get someone out of the warehouse. Last time I went I was asked if I was done because their lunch break was in 10 min. You have to laugh!
